Caravane is one of Quebec's leading French-language rock bands. Since its beginnings, Caravane has distinguished itself by its raw, audacious style. Over the years, the Quebec City-based band has carved out a glittering path through three albums, “Chien Noir” (2014), “Fuego” (2016) and “Supernova” (2018), all nominated in the "Rock Album of the Year" category at the ADISQ Gala.
Caravane has crisscrossed the roads of both hemispheres, racking up over 500 shows on three continents. The band has electrified the stages of numerous major festivals, as well as opening for international legends such as Deep Purple, Cage the Elephant, Milky Chance, The Strumbellas and Our Lady Peace.
Musically, Caravane never ceases to reinvent itself, moving from the blues-rock of Chien Noir to the melancholy pop-rock of Fuego, to the more sophisticated and poetic experimentation of Supernova. With their fourth album, IV, the band reclaim their rock roots, while preserving the critical intelligence and lyrical sensibility acquired along the way.
Through a spectrum of incisive sounds and uncompromising production, Caravane explore the complex relationships between art, artist, audience, and industry. This new album is an invitation to rediscover rock in all its unrestrained splendor, where humor and spontaneity meet poetry and depth.
