Adam Srae (pronounced “shray''), is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and independent recording artist from Benin City. With a soulful, melodic voice resonating with emotions and a deep texture wrapped in insightful lyrics, he is noted for his innate ability to enthrall listeners with the music he loves to describe as Soul and Vibes.
Adam graduated from the University of Benin in 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a growing music career. Formerly known as A.D.A.M (Another Day, Another Memory), he has one significant project on all platforms: "Before Srae," a compilation album of his previously released singles.
He began recording music at 16 in 2015, and his first song, Confession, was released in 2016. Since then, Adam has worked to improve his craft with each new release. With each event he has been fortunate to grace, he has been increasing his fan base as an impassioned performer on stage. Johnny Drille, DJ Spinall, Falz, Ric Hassani, and Rema are among the Nigerian acts he has previously opened for.
Adam's most recent song, Fire, was released on February 1, 2022. In June, he started a 100-Day Songwriting Challenge on social media, a daily songwriting and recording challenge in which he posted a brief video performance of each written and recorded song on all his social media accounts.
He also competed to be a part of the 2022 Talent Program competition hosted by the Music Business Academy for Africa in conjunction with The Orchard during this challenge. Alongside seven exceptional artists, he was selected for the program and is now contributing to an album being put together by the MBA's Class of 2022.
