Sensorama, a German electronic music group, was formed in 1994 by Jörn Elling Wuttke and Roman Flügel. Both hailing from Darmstadt, they began collaborating as a production team in the late 1980s. In 1993, they co-founded three labels: Ongaku, Klang Elektronik, and Playhouse, alongside DJ Ata and Heiko MSO. The following year, Sensorama released their debut single "Nagelbrett". Their first album, Welcome Insel, was released in October 1995. In April 1998, they followed up with the album Love. Sensorama gained significant recognition for their music videos, including "Star Escalator" (1998), which won Best German Music Video at the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, and "Echtzeit" (1996), which earned a Music Machine Award for Best Video. Their third album, Projektor, was released in June 2001.
