Karim Albert Kook est un guitariste, chanteur et auteur-compositeur franco-algérien né à Hussein Dey (Alger). Atteint de poliomyélite dans son enfance, il s’installe en France où il découvre le blues et fait ses premières scènes dès l’adolescence. Depuis 1997, il a publié plusieurs albums–dont Les choses ressemblent à ça, Je roule vers toi et Barbès City Limit Blues–marqués par un métissage entre blues traditionnel, musiques nord-africaines et world. Reconnu pour son engagement en faveur de la visibilité du handicap, il mène également des ateliers de sensibilisation et se produit régulièrement sur les scènes françaises et internationales.
