Singer/Songwriter Jakob Olson, "Junzi" sees the world through a spectrum of connectivity. His philosophy of connecting and personal growth are directly linked to his faith and daily devotion. He is an open follower of Jesus Christ. He often quotes Albert Einstein, that "coincidences are God’s way of remaining anonymous.” He stands firm in his faith and sees that every event has meaning and connection.
The reasoning for his use of Junzi comes from Confucius who used the term to describe the ideal person “a righteous man capable of attaining a virtuous life for the good of their family, the nation and mankind.” From this definition, Junzi's aim as a musician is to create music that can be enjoyed by all families and promotes the well-being of a virtuous person and life.
In his music you will find a message revolving around the existence of God which highlights the importances of being raised with values and morals that promote wisdom, justice, harmony and peace.
Born in Bismarck, ND, he grew up focusing on his love for academic learning and athletics. As a student athlete in college, his passion for writing original and personal lyrics and musical expression took over. He began his music career by writing and producing “[ T ]” on September 22, 2022. Junzi has written and recorded over 200 songs.
