Founded in 1995, Blasted Mechanism is a band currently composed of Valdjiu, Guitshu, Fred Stone, Riic Wolf and Ary. With over a dozen albums released, they have already won a Golden Globe and been nominated three times for MTV Best Portuguese Act. They have performed on the biggest stages in Portugal and many others abroad, such as the iconic Glastonbury festival.
An essential part of Portuguese music, they fuse rock with electronics and elements of various traditional musics from around the world. They are an original fusion project, with a strong identity, which is reflected in their remarkable performances, which are true cathartic experiences. Blasted Mechanism are synonymous with power, representing an avant-garde and inexhaustible force of entertainment, a nonconformist way of being in life.
