Re-Drum is a French electronic music artist who began creating sounds during his teenage years. Inspired by various genres and the sounds of the Warp label, especially Aphex Twin and Squarepusher, his primary goal was to create IDM and Ambient music. This can be heard on his first albums, Differential Analysis (2007) and Another Path Between Universes (2008).
Around 2009, after listening to Echospace's track "Sunset," he sought to create something more techno/house-oriented, sometimes with a more "song"-based structure or featuring acoustic instruments such as bass and electric guitar.
For his next release in 2010, he wanted to explore something different, always aiming to surprise his audience. This is when the project 1969 was born, a sample-based album drawing from music of that year. In the style of DJ Shadow and similar artists, the album had a psychedelic rock edge.
In 2022, after a personal crisis and feeling that the Techno scene had become too dark, he shifted his focus to photography and exhibited his work in the Southwest of France. This is when he launched his project Stereographics, blending Dub Techno with other genres, often with a melodic touch, as is typical of his music.
From Ambient/IDM, Dub Techno, and Deep House to Downtempo and Breaks, his music always keeps his audience guessing. He enjoys surprising his listeners, never repeating himself.
