Mar$ NoeL, born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America in 1979, embarked on a musical journey that would take him from his early years in Jamaica Queens to a burgeoning career in the hip-hop world. In August 1986, he made the significant move to the United States, which laid the foundation for his artistic evolution.
Growing up in Jamaica Queens, Mar$ NoeL was immersed in the vibrant hip-hop culture, shaped by the daily interactions with his peers and classmates. At a young age, he naturally became the center of attention, paving the way for his eventual transition into the role of an emcee.
His formative years were spent in the Rochdale Village Co-op community of Jamaica Queens, and as he matured, he found himself in locales like Baisley Park Houses and the 40 projects areas. His outgoing personality and ventures took him to places like Laurelton, The Bronx, and ultimately Valley Stream, Long Island.
During his high school years in Elmont and Franklin Square, Long Island, and later in Newark, New Jersey, Mar$ NoeL’s talent for lyricism and oratory became well-known among his peers. This recognition fueled his determination to step into the spotlight once more, this time as an emcee.
This decision proved to be a wise one, as it led him to cross paths with some of the most legendary pioneers in the urban music industry, including luminaries like Jam Master Jay (RIP), Father MC, L.A. Reid, and Dallas Austin, among others.
Mar$ NoeL continues to make his mark in the music world, collaborating with the global music network, Indelible Conscious, and working alongside accomplished artists such as King Charlie Prince, St. Laz, Grand Surgeon, Crown Jewelz, Mr. Ripley Derek D, and many others. He also collaborates with a talented lineup of producers, including LG Roc, Big Bob, The Serial Killers, Doc Frost, Rico Beatz, Chase Dawn, Q the Beat Boy, Redd Tunes Productions, and more.
Mar$ Noel was also recently signed to the Big Bob Canadian imprint Elite Sound International (ESI) in January of 2023, but however, due to the unfortunate and sudden passing of legendary Underground Producer Big Bob, he now sees himself presently in the run for another imprint, be it his own or another reputable entity.
Currently, Mar$ NoeL and his music can be found on numerous independent internet radio stations, digital streaming and social media platforms ensuring his distinctive sound reaches a wide and appreciative audience worldwide.
