“ I’ve been so excited to get this song out there, as it’s the first time we’ve managed to properly fuse my love of RnB into the mix, I feel so comfortable and confident in the way my sound is heading.” “I initially started writing about my fixation with Angel numbers, 11:11 follows me everywhere, hence my most recent tattoo! Take It Slow evolved into a song about self preservation and the early stages of a relationship, where the attraction is fierce but you’re trying to hold back and not get in your feels too soon. It’s so easy to get ahead of yourself and dive in too deep too quick”.
Rheo continues “ I wanted the song to reflect the intensity and sensuality of the emotions behind the lyrics, although we still kept a reference to the original concept”.
