Miro's project is a bold and innovative musical adventure that has captured hearts in Quebec and beyond. It offers a unique fusion of musical genres, combining pop, jazz, funk and electronic music to create a fresh, captivating sound. In 2019, he released his debut album, “En retard sur ma vie”, which earned him a nomination as revelation of the year at the ADISQ Gala in 2020.
In 2021, Miro returns with “Sablier”, a second opus that shows a greater maturity, while also keeping catchy melodies lifted by an impeccable production. Several singles testify to the album's success: “Assez” with Mike Clay has been in the French BDS Pop Rock Top 25 for 29 consecutive weeks, crowning Miro the iHeart Radio Future Star on Rouge FM for October 2021; the version of “Ma Way” with Éli Rose has racked up over 799,000 listens on Spotify; and “Perdu” has remained in the French BDS Top 100 for 26 weeks.
His third album Géant, released on November 10th 2023, offers a new encounter with the artist, who narrates his acquaintances and various experiences for which he took the time to live, while composing this third opus. Following a process of introspection that led him to review his creative process, Miro presents ten songs that reflect his desire for renewal and testify to the evolution of his creative identity. Not only does he offer an album imbued with organic sounds and a predominance of instruments, but he also offers an album designed specifically to be performed live. It's by taking time to look back and realize how far he's come that Miro feels like a Géant.
