Mxlan A , born Asiimwe Milan in Fort Portal , Uganda is singer, songwriter and record producer who has been making music since the age of 12. He started out producing music when his elder brother introduced him to Fruity Loops Software that inspired him to start making music and singing over his own instrumentals. His passion for music grew in his high school where he’d sing a long I-Blade and this helped him learn more about music too. Mxlan A dropped his first single, Nakupenda which marked the beginning of his musical career. He also continues to release new music for his fans from time to time.
Mxlan A has produced countless records for himself and his peers like Raezzy, I-Blade, Joka and many others.
Mxlan A’s music draws a lot of influence from Afrobeats, R&B, Dancehall, Reggaetón and Hiphop/rap with huge acts like Daddy Andre, J Balvin, Wizkid, Chris Brown and many others and these influence his creativity and style in terms of rhythm and vocal performance.
Mxlan A describes his style as a blend of Afrobeats and R&B calling it Afro-R&B and hopes his fans to feel love, passion and also pain when they listen to his music.
