Chidiebere UDE-ENE, commonly known as Chidi EP is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. Growing up, EP was influenced by his grandfather's highlife collections. The percussions, the melodious guitar riffs, the raw yet beautiful voices that sang in harmony would enchant young Chidi and keep him glued to the radio set. He also Borrowed Heavily from the gospel influence from his grandmother's side.
He developed a passion for all things music and would not engage in any other extracurricular activity other than memorising and singing the lyrics to his favourite songs. Chidi has been part of many different
hiphop, highlife and gospel groups and choirs including: Aspirers Theatre Group Abuja, 2Skillz, Mountain top Youth's choir, CHiiCHE Revival Worshippers, Created to Worship, T.A.G. etc.
After releasing a song titled "OKAY" in May of 2021, Chidi EP decided to pursue a career in music and has since gone on to release a follow up to OKAY titled "MY WAY". For Chidi EP, this is just the beginning but it promises to be an interesting journey.
