Naukograd is a project of two artists, Ilya Orange (Ilya Viktorov) and Fireya (Julia Boriskina), founded in 2018 in Moscow. The duo creates music in such genres as synthwave, chillwave, dream pop, lo-fi and sovietwave. In addition to the Naukograd project, both artists are engaged in solo projects, exploring dub techno, dark techno, ambient, house and IDM.
Their music is created to touch people's souls, evoke pleasant memories, lift their spirits, and offer an escape from the worries of everyday life.
