José David Pita, better known as José Pita, was born in Ibarra, Ecuador. At the age of 14 he sang for the first time in public in a program organized by his school with the student band he formed during his youth, where he later learned several instruments, performing covers of tropical and pop music. When Pita left the country for studies, he fell in love with the Ukulele and during his time there, he composed his first song fusing the Tropi Pop.
In 2018 his first single, opened the doors of his career in his city. To date he has fifteen singles and has shared the stage with NickyJam, Alkilados, Mike Bahia, Greeicy, Silvestre Dangond, Cavas, Kevin Roldan, Arevalo, Aldo Ranks, Gente de Zona.
