Born in Montpellier and immersed in hip-hop culture for many years, Odjek grew up in Reunion Island before coming back to his hometown. This journey influenced his way of life, his vision of music and rap.
His musical influences and the rhythm of the tropics align perfectly with the festive atmosphere of the South that he represents. His musical style is placed between warm piano notes from South America, alcoholic freestyles mastered on the razor's edge and some reggae chords.
He recently released an entirely self-produced EP called BIG BANG that mixes hip-hop flows with reggae dub stepper instrumentals.
