Caelum is a metal band from Puerto Rico formed in 2022 by guitarist and vocalist José Gabriel. The band begun making music in 2015 as a solo project named Transcendentia in which a 6-song demo was recorded. While experimenting with various subgenres from the underground metal scene of Puerto Rico, the band has moved towards a melodic death metal style rather than the progressive elements that characterized the first album Terranova, which was released in 2022. The band is currently recording their second album Æris which includes 7 tracks and reveals a more sinister and darker concept than their previous release.
