Based in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Mariano Telles is a guitarist and composer. His music has influences in classical music, Brazilian popular music, jazz and pop. Ária Metropolitana is the first album in this musician's career. This instrumental project aims to expand our vision of what is considered urban or regional music, and elevates the guitar as the protagonist of a storyline that condenses acoustic as well as electronic elements, textures of lyrical songs, percussion, electric guitar and ambient sounds, creating a bridge between popular and classical music.
