I'm a husband, father, composer, guitarist and singer.
I like to think up melodies and create atmospheres that conjure up images in my head. My music doesn't have to impress, it has to make an impression.
The title track of my solo debut on CD is called "Simple doesn't mean easy". That's my musical approach and my motto in life. The guitar is my main instrument and I have written many solo compositions for it.
But also I particularly enjoy playing my music with musicians who create their own unique sound. The openness of my compositions and arrangements allows us to interact directly with each other. I always make sure that the equivalence of the instruments is maintained, so that the boundaries between melody playing and accompaniment sometimes dissolve. That's exactly what I like most about making music. Maybe that's what gives my music its special energy.
