sendhelp is a genre-blending alt-pop duo born out of the worldwide quarantines caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In September 2020, Canada-based songwriter and vocalist (Skye), and UK-based instrumentalist and music producer (Jay) discovered each other on Reddit. From 5,000 miles apart, they've created their (not yet released) discography entirely online through Discord. Working independently, sendhelp is building the foundations of their legacy in every aspect. From composition and engineering to visual artwork and community building, they aim to refine every element of their artistry.
sendhelp fuses inspiration from the mainstream, video game OSTs, and BIG FESTIVAL ENERGY in a way that bridges the gap between the chaotic and the melodic. Their sound is danceable, riff-heavy, memorable, and emotionally driven with catchy vocal and instrumental hooks. Embracing a passion for ingenuity, sendhelp experiments keenly on the boundaries between genres and aims to write songs that resonate in a way that just makes you feel good.
Having released Level Up in September 2021, the duo continues to produce a stockpile of music with plans to release over a dozen songs in the coming months.
