The talented singer-songwriter, Christiaan Baartman, released his single, My Vrou, during May 2020 and the song still features on various radio stations charts nationwide. His next single, Die Beste Deel (The Best Part), promises to exceed all expectations and listeners are in for a real musical treat!
Die Beste Deel is a song about your better half. “That moment when you are alone at home and you realize that you miss your other half so much, your whole day feels empty. That is when you realize that your partner is the best part of you,” says Christiaan.
The song was produced by Jattie de Beer from Artistry Productions and the final mixing and mastering was done by Sean Manley from Manley Recording Studios who has an extremely deep understanding of sound and music. Christiaan wrote the song in collaboration with Jattie. “The song was born from a good bottle of red wine and the nostalgia of love,” Christiaan adds. In a world of music, Christiaan and Jattie are soul mates. Every time they work together, magic happens, and this time is no different.
Christiaan has been involved in the music industry for around two decades and has raked in quite a few awards. To ensure that he stays relevant and on track with the latest trends in music, the talented singer travels often and one of his favourite destinations is Nashville. “I love Nashville. I try to go there once a year to visit and learn and grow. This year’s trip was unfortunately cut short, but I hope and believe that I will have another opportunity to go.”
