Chatham Street recording artists Hal Goodtree and Michael Pelz-Sherman have been writing, recording and performing as Lounge Doctors since 2014.

Michael Pelz-Sherman earned his PhD in Music from the University of California. A versatile keyboardist, he plays for the North Carolina Ballet, the NC Jazz Ensemble, and as a featured sideman in dozens of Triangle bands.

Two-time Emmy® winner Hal Goodtree plays guitar, bass and sings. Known as a producer and musicologist, he has worked on hundreds of commercial sounds tracks and with stars including James Earl Jones and Cindy Crawford.
