Born & raised in Arlington, VA, AlanMichael has garnered the attention from some of music’s icons. In 2011 he started releasing acapella covers on his Soundcloud, which caught the attention of Dev Hynes. AlanMIchael has since performed alongside artists such as Dawn Richard, Kindness, Brandy, and more.
In April of 2016, AlanMichael released his debut EP, Honeymoon Motel. In 2017, accompanied by visuals for every song, he released his ‘Entrancing’ EP. In 2019, he launched his own label, ‘Boyfriend Groove’ & released his first full length album ‘almond milk’ in 2019. Developing his own unique style by taking a tirelessly independent route, AlanMichael is without a doubt becoming an artist to watch.
