Mark Bishop is a GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning artist and songwriter. 2024 marked his 40th year in the Southern Gospel industry. He began his career in 1984 with his father and brother in the group The Bishops. They toured nationally for 17 years, earning 27 Top 40 hits, multiple #1 songs, and numerous awards. They appeared on Nashville Now, The Grand Ole Opry, and the Gaither Homecoming series. Mark has written songs for groups like Brian Free and Assurance, Legacy Five, and The Kingsmen. Since launching his solo career in 2001, he has won “Soloist of the Year” (2005), a GRAMMY nomination for Beautiful Day (2020), and the J.D. Sumner Living Legend Award (2022).
