KOKA is the solo project of artist Dora Koka.
Born and partly raised in Albania, the Berlin-based musician left behind an active Architecture-career to focus on her music solely: a 90s-inspired blend of ethereal electronic, alt-pop and emotional songwriting.
Embellished with a contrast of delicate, energetic melodies and a hypersensitivity, her music is a vessel of personal expression and healing. It transcends the boundaries of modern-day pop with its edgy twists.
KOKA released a handful of solid singles and landed a spot in the acclaimed compilation "Listen to Berlin 20/21" with "Let Them Know". She regularly collaborates with other producers and songwriters, which is how "Deliverance" (w Matteo Capreoli) came to life. Her debut album is set for mid September 2022, in partnership with producers from Riverside Studios Berlin and sponsored by Initiative Musik GmbH/ Neustart Kultur in Germany. published by KOKA
