Circular Square is a digital creator coming from South of France based in Brussels and working with technologies such as 3D and computer music.
He starts his music production at around 14 years old, experimenting by himself the tools of electronic music. His father constructs a strong part of Circular Square’s music culture with early IDM (Aphex Twin, Square Pusher, Venetian Snares) but also with free Jazz and UK Jazz.
His music is now about hybridizing and deconstructing music genres around dnb, breaks, bass music, idm, dubstep or hyperpop. He approaches music mathematically and loves working with the randomness and generated systems to break loops, to create new possibilities and to surprise with happy accidents.
His music is made for experimental club heads who enjoy complex rhythms and big bass but it also has an IDM vibe ; you can sit on your couch and follow a journey into his digital world where the time is stretchable and every object’s sound design evolves.
