Marouane Chakib, a self-taught artist from Rabat. Multi-instrumentalist composer and independent music producer. Marouane had accumulated his knowledge and skills, through several stations in his life, the thing that made his artistic journey richer compared to mere academic experiences.
It was on his 15th birthday that Marouane received his very first guitar, a symbol of family support and faith in his hidden talent. This very first contact with an instrument that Marouane would never have thought would last so long, which would later explain the presence of this instrument in most of his compositions, if not already the main tool on which Marouane bases more to find his melodies, and uses for his recording sessions in his Home Studio.
Marouane Chakib currently relies on several instruments and sounds assisted by computer programs, in addition to her skills on electronic drums, synthesizer, electric guitar, or bass. Marouane always tries to bring new things to her creations, through collections of sounds and recent techniques, in order to stay aligned with modern trends, while keeping a foot in the independent alternative dimension.
