Droxx is one of the most exciting and pioneering young voices out of Nigeria leading a new wave of Nigerian hip hop. Born & raised in Lagos, the country’s entertainment hub, he has an undeniable underground hip hop following, combined a with variety of features and projects that ensures his consistency and sees him making major waves in the music industry.
Olaitan Taiwo Habeeb popularly known as Droxx is a rapper,Singer and songwriter based in Lagos who Started his music journey from writing songs and also rapping at the age of 14 .
He is one half of the music duo @D.S.6 (slimsyxx making up the other half)
He also one of the pioneers of Drill Music in Nigeria.
@D.S.6 released their debut EP @Ignis Grando in 2019. The EP made it to over 25countries Apple music chart. Number 53 spot in UK and 65 spot in Nigeria
In 2021 he released a joint EP @Riot with @Mo'Gunz The EP made it to number 21 spot on Apple music top 200 chart in Nigeria, and also secured spots on Ghana and Ireland's Apple music chart respectively. Major highlights from the EP were hit tracks "shalaye" and "officer"
In 2020 he formed Collective “Bad influence” with other acts like Mo’gunz, SamvstheKids,VRSD,Runjozi etc
Affiliated with Lagos Music and fashion collective @thirstyworldwide appearing in two tracks on the @THIRSTY TAPE VOL.1
Droxx has been featured on over 60 songs since 2019, collaborating with artists from all of over the world
He has gone on to amass over 1million streams as an independent act
