A singer, lyricist, composer and performer, he uses a broad range of styles in his songs, from African beats to Ibero-American music, from groove to funk, from soul to urban music.

Cheikh Ibra Fam is adding a new string to his bow with the release under his own name of his début album, Peace In Africa. This Afro-pop song comes after nearly 15 years performing under the name Freestyle in his native country and along with his current collaboration as a singer with the internationally renowned group Orchestra Baobab.
