Nicholas Jerrell Barron (born May 9, 1992), known professionally as Jerrell is an American rapper from Houma, Louisiana. His debut album “One Man One Sound” was released in 2014 with Tate Music Group and was the break-through into his Hip-Hop career. Soon after the album was released, Jerrell landed a performance alongside Bizzy Bone of the legendary group Bone Thugs N Harmony. This was a lifetime achievement as Bizzy is not only iconic but Jerrell’s favorite artist! Over the next few months without the proper exposure, the project fell stagnate pushing Jerrell to create his own platform. In 2017 he started Lyrical Innovation (a marketing and promotion company for independent recording artists), to be in full control of his career.
As business grew, Jerrell gained numerous industry contacts and even secured a feature from platinum selling artist Baby Blue of Pretty Ricky. At this time Jerrell decided to bring other artists into the mix by creating local and out of state showcases for a chance of exposure. The showcases then led to bigger events and in the mists of the pandemic Jerrell coordinated a concert with Chicago’s finest; Twista.
With record and distribution deals coming in, Jerrell decided that investing into a manager was non-questionable and signed a management agreement with Only One Media Group in early 2021.
Since then, Jerrell's focus is pursuing future endeavors with Lyrical Innovation while releasing new material at the request of his fans!
