Born Cory Lacy, ‘C.LACY’ is a professional singer-songwriter from Dallas, Texas. His primary genres are R&B and Pop. He fuses musical elements from old and contemporary rhythm and pop to create a unique blend of sound that is typical to him alone.
Because he was raised by his mother, who was a single parent, C.LACY witnessed firsthand the undying and mesmerizing strength of a woman and the sacrifices made by single mothers. This led to his great appreciation of women who also happen to be the inspiration behind most of his songs. Growing up, C.LACY spent most of his childhood singing in the church choir and around his family and friends in high school and college. .
