Ana Lúcia Pereira Moniz, known professionally as Lúcia Moniz, was born on September 9, 1976, in Lisbon, Portugal. She is a singer and actress, best known for participating in the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest. At age 19, Moniz entered the Festival da Canção with "O meu coração não tem cor" and won by four points, securing her spot to represent Portugal at the contest, where she finished 6th out of 23 contestants. Her debut album, Magnolia, was released in 1999, reaching the top 20 in the Portuguese albums chart and being certified Gold. Moniz also ventured into acting, notably starring in the 2003 film Love Actually. She reprised her role for the charity short-film sequel Red Nose Day Actually in 2017. In 2021, she won the Best Performance award at the Raindance Film Festival for her role in the film Listen.
