Owner of a unique and powerful voice, Luís Trigacheiro hails from Beja. At 16, he started singing in the choirs of Alentejo, where the predominant genre is Cante (a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity), while exploring other genres and inspirations.
After winning The Voice Portugal in 2020, he signed with Universal Music Portugal and released his debut single, “Meu Nome É Saudade”, which was received with great enthusiasm by the public and critics and became the artist’s first Gold Single.
In September of 2021, “Peixe Fora de Água” was released, revealing a different aspect of his musicality. At the beginning of 2022 comes “Quem Me Vê”, followed by his debut album “Fado do Meu Cante”, a journey where Cante and Fado coexist, which captured the true spirit of Luís Trigacheiro. The album was well received and performed live for a sold-out Tivoli Lisbon.
In 2024, Luís Trigacheiro released his second album, “Ela”, which was produced by Luísa Sobral and featured collaborations with Salvador Sobral, Milhanas and Irma. 2025 begins with a collaboration with Nena on a powerful duet “À Espera do Fim”, followed by “Tu na Tua”, a collaboration with ÁTOA and Buba Espinho. His latest single “Porta 43”, a collaboration with renowned national artist Diogo Piçarra, showcases Luís’ unique voice and authenticity.
On October 25th, Luís Trigacheiro sold out two shows at the Coliseu de Lisboa, bringing his powerful voice to an iconic Lisbon venue.
