Marcelo Roascio is an Argentine musician, author and composer. He is a guitarist and pioneer in Argentina in publishing books with instructional audio for electric guitar.
As a guitarist, he leads the instrumental rock group "Roascio RCM", having released the albums "Espías", "Dos de Tres", "Todo en un día" and "En el lugar justa". He is also a member of the band "Dr. ROCK" with which he released the albums "Yo ya oí" and "Sigue la noche". The latter has as guests Pappo, Don Vilanova Botafogo, and Luis Robinson.
As guests, he featured on his albums the bassist Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, Eric Johnson, etc.), the guitarist and producer Vernon Neilly (Greg Howe, Kiko Loureiro, etc.) and Walter Giardino (White Rat).
The albums include covers of songs like "Georgy Porgy" (Toto), "New Country" (Jean-Luc Ponty), "Maniac" (Flashdance), and "Roxanne" (The Police) among others.
