Dj / turntablist and Beatmaker based in Lecce (Italy). Active since 1991, Etto Trink can be considered one of the pioneers of Italian turntablism (Although still today he remains in the underground scene). He makes his name in national contests between 1994 through to 1998. He has collaborated with historical names of the Italian Hip Hop scene, but his openness to experimentation has led him to orchestrate his scratches with musicians of various genres and origins, from Eastern Europe to New York, to combine Electronic-Jazz and Trip Hop and touring with different bands. In 2013 for personal reasons he moves away from the music scene. But he continues to practice scratch but also implementing productions until returning in 2017 completely renewed. This renewal starts with the stage name Etto Trink (former DJ Trinketto). The style is also new and his productions a kind of introspective journey made with elaborate samples and scratches. The reins are loosened to facilitate the journey through often nostalgic scenarios, from which an angry vein occasionally emerges. The productions are more Trip Hop and sometimes it is difficult to classify them in an outlined genre.
