The artist formerly known as Smashis, Zingah returns to the hip hop game with a much cleaner look and sound to match that. Dlala is a good example of that transition. Moving away from the trendy and yet bubblegummy hip hop, Zingah chooses to delicately lace his vocals on an infectious guitar instrumental making Dlala an earworm. It’s no surprise that the production on the song is done by non other than the versatile DJ Maphorisa. It’s no surprise that Zingah is behind this song as he has written for an wide array of artists including Mlindo The Vocalist, Kwesta, KiD X, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
