DITZ

DITZ are a post-punk band from Brighton, UK, known for their explosive sound that blends elements of noise rock, punk, and grunge. Formed in 2016, the band's raw and chaotic energy quickly set them apart from their peers in the UK music scene. DITZ's music often features angular guitar riffs, heavy basslines, and an intense rhythm section, all backed by sharp, politically charged lyrics that tackle issues such as societal frustration, personal alienation, and political disillusionment. The band’s lineup consists of Cal Francis (vocals), Caleb Remnant (bass), Anton Mocock (guitar), Jack Looker (guitar), and Sam Evans (drums). Their music captures a sense of urgency and dissatisfaction, with influences ranging from early post-punk acts like The Fall and Gang of Four, to the more abrasive sounds of 1990s noise rock. DITZ's debut album, The Great Regression (2022), was well-received by critics, combining sharp-edged, dissonant melodies with searing vocals. Its successor, Never Exhale, arrived in 2025.
