THE ACADEMY is a German Modern Rock band founded in early 2020. The duo of Kamil (Guitar/Bass/Vocals) and Justus (Drums/Vocals) had several different bands before and decided someday to go on their musical journey together. Both played a great variety of genres and were influenced by many bands and musicians like Royal Blood, The Blue Stones , Royal Republic or their collective love for the Foo Fighters.
This combination of influences paired with creativity and foolishness creates an unique sound and style the duo is presenting. Even the first songs are showing a great variety of styles. Fast riffs, powerful chords or slow ballads are part of the music they have decided to dedicate to. After they noticed that they are very compatible with writing songs they decided to make it all by themselfes. They want to take the listener with them and show what it takes to become a musician and producing music all by themselfes.
