Jason Shaldon Arendse aka Jixlove was born and raised in the Central Karoo, in a small town called Beaufort West.
He fell in love with Hip Hop through the “cypher” element of the culture.
He released his first project in the year 2012. In that same year he performed on the TV Show called Hectic Nine 9. The year after that he joined and started multiple rap groups and did live performance around the Karoo and featured on radio interviews such as:
-Hemelbesem: Straat Predikant (the interview were broadcasted on different radio stations)
-Pretty Boy Breeza : Let’s know episode 6 (which were broadcasted on Radio GamkaLand)
In the year 2020 Jixlove and Charlzero decided to start their own record label named "Ghetto Born Media."
And early 2021 they released they first album called Confuckulated, where they worked with artists like Lizzy beatz, Saint Abbot, Nelly (A singer) , Quinton (Known as Q, a poet), PK the producer (California /USA ), Emcee Likwit and Charlzero.
We are currently working on more songs, so we'll be releasing new music ASAP.
