Shery M is an Iranian-born, Vienna-based singer, rapper, songwriter and activist. Known as the “Persian Urban Queen,” she fuses Persian lyrics with hip-hop, pop, R&B, and opera to create a bold, genre-defying sound.
Her journey began in Tehran’s underground scene, where she challenged a system that silenced female voices. When she began appearing on screen, the risks escalated. In 2016, due to growing pressure over her music, Shery M left Iran and began a new chapter in Europe.
Since then, she has built an international career from scratch — using her voice to advocate for freedom, women’s rights, and artistic independence. With over 500 million streams across Persian and global platforms, she’s become a fearless voice of resistance.
In 2025, she closes a chapter with her final Farsi-language album Wild Side, led by the bold singles Tiny and Az Oonasham.
