Luiz Macedo has an eclectic musical background, rooted in a childhood surrounded by regional chorinho groups, playing guitar and cavaquinho, and a youth divided between classical studies in composition and trumpet with the Municipal Youth Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with Sossega Leão, Orquestra Heartbreakers, and Karnak. He released the albums Bossa Electromagnética, Orchestra Electromagnética, and Lofi Bossa. In 1995, he founded the production company Jukebox. Currently, in addition to his soundtrack work, he researches audio for virtual and augmented reality. He created the soundtrack and spatial audio for the activist and inclusive documentaries by renowned filmmaker Tadeu Jungle: Rio de Lama, about the Mariana disaster, awarded by the UN; Fogo na Floresta; and Ocupação Mauá. And on June 1st, he will release his latest work: Tudo Pode (perder-se), featuring 29 soundtracks created for projects by the artist Tadeu Jungle.
