Cole Shway is a singer-songwriter, producer, & performer based out of Winnipeg, Canada. He plays a variety of styles that stem from a genre of what can best be described as experimental folk, with influence coming from artists such as The Tallest Man On Earth, Mt. Joy, and Kevin Morby; to name a few. Shway’s lyrics delve into and span through many topics of life and experience, all while being kept clear and relatable to connect with the listener.
Shway’s live performance is entertaining, energetic, and oftentimes brings a comedic undertone, captivating the audience and bringing something to the table for everyone to enjoy. Although his live show is not to be missed, Shway’s biggest joy as a musician comes from being in the studio, where he can truly let his creativity and passion for recording run rampant.
