Fahron was born in 2021, born from two musician’s common ambition of creating pure and innovative hip/hop, creating authentic music with shades of jazz & soul, driven by strong, modern drums.
As soon as they met, Robinson (writer/vocalist) and Celsius (composer/arranger/drummer) knew they shared the same love for American rap, from New-York’s drum breaks to California's ambient rhodes, but also vocal fantasies found down south, from Memphis to Atlanta. Before the project was even founded, both knew that it had to be a fusion of all these elements, a retrospective of hip/hop culture.
Celsius thus composed grand and luxurious instrumentals, with a great diversity of vibes and harmonies. Robinson then developed unifying themes within his lyrics, such as love, trust, faith and obsession ; through the optimistic lens that music can be a bandage for the wounds of this world.
Their music is a product of our time. Very referential, wearing its influences on its sleeves, it still brings out its own true identity. A complex identity, pushing hip/hop’s boundaries, tapping into the old to make the new.
