Vienna is known for its imperial splendour, magnificent buildings and illustrious history. At first glance, the name „The Palais“ is probably not associated with danceable indie rock music. The five musicians combine the two different lifestyles with each other: the imposing inner city meets the thriving nightlife. It's something between indie pop & rock that the band has been writing in their rehearsal room since 2018. Songs to listen to whilst driving - whether on a road trip or a lonely ride at dawn. Emotionally compelling and vivid at the same time, their music covers stories drawn from everyday life. In 2020, The Palais went from the rehearsal room to the studio, where they fine-tuned their own sound. This led to the first collaboration with producer Georg Gabler (Please Madame, James Choice, ...) and thus the debut of the Viennese indie rockers.
