Tristen Bishop is best known for his outside the box approach to musical composition, exploring unique musical expression through his love of storytelling in all its mediums. Tristen’s background in musical composition and education, as well as theology and history in his seven years of post-secondary continue to inspire him to re-evaluate the relationship between composer, performer, and listener — From using the throw of a dice to determine the order in which bars of music will be played for each performance of Cause and Effect No.1: Proceduroll, to attempting to condition a listener’s opinion using concepts from political science and game design in Overton’s Window.
As of 2023, Tristen continues to strive for more collaborative projects within any form of storytelling. With experience in music production, engraving, publishing, freelance work, and stock music, Tristen is always looking for new opportunities.
