King Kofi is one of the most diverse artists to emerge out of North London's hip-hop scene. The release of his debut mixtape 'Just A Dude In Need Of A Chance' mixtape saw the rapper gain a respectable online fan-base. A product of the emo/ trap phase, King Kofi began to see his fan-base grow exponentially as plays started to build on his SoundCloud account and catch momentum from an international audience as listeners tuned in from North America and Canada. He followed up the mixtape with the release of his LP ("Summer With The Wolves") which cemented the artist as one of the music industry's most conceptual storytellers. The album suggested the rapper had found his sound and his footing, seamlessly merging sounds of indie music, trap and experimental rock. The album's titular track 'Summer With The Wolves' appeared in renowned culture and music magazine i-D on their "Best New Music" playlist.
