‘If Avicii’s musicality met Daft Punk’s funkiness in a modern age’
Breaking away from the streets of Paris and establishing himself in the UK music scene, Gamys introduces a sense of “je ne sais quoi” performing multiple DJ residencies across London as well as releasing his own original tracks and working with a range of other artists.
Gamys music is driven by authenticity, drawing inspiration from his musical surroundings, and championing bold house rhythms, funky basslines and moving dance floors.
Gamys released his debut single “Lost” in 2019 on Crosswalk Records, establishing himself in the industry and giving the first taste into what the French artist is all about. This however, was not the first move that introduced Gamys to the musical landscape.
Having earned his stripes playing as a DJ in intimate venues around Paris, developing his performance skills in an unforgiving underground environment, Gamys brings that same live energy across the channel to the London club and dance scene.
Accumulating over 50k streams and regularly performing at venues such as 93 Feet East and The Cause, Gamys is currently working on multiple releases, collaborating with London-based talents as well as working on his own solo material. Moving forward in 2022 with a busy release schedule, live events, gigs, and so much more to come, this is an exciting time for the French DJ/Producer. His new single “Take It Back” is coming out on the 18th of March and his debut EP is in the making, set to be released later this year.
