BOPS is the brainchild of three brothers—Louis, Oscar, and Germain—joined by their friend Tom. After two albums infused with garage-pop energy and a string of dynamic shows across Europe, the band quickly made a name for themselves, captivating audiences with their electrifying stage presence.
Building on the raw vitality of their early work, BOPS has evolved toward a more adventurous and deeply personal sound. Drawing inspiration from boundary-pushing acts like Fat White Family and Talking Heads, and embracing the risk-taking spirit of Foxygen and MGMT, the band now explores richer, more daring sonic landscapes.
Their third album, produced by Samy Osta (known for his work with La Femme, Feu! Chatterton, and more), was recently completed at the iconic La Frette Studio (95). Marking a bold step forward into intoxicating pop terrain, the album is slated for release in Autumn 2025.
