Born in Bogota on June 21, 2003, Robin Manlay is a singer, songwritter, and composer. Robin fell in love with music and guitar since we was 2 ! At 6 years old, he decided to learn guitar and went to his intercommunal music school for a year. Robin didn't enjoy the complexity of music such as "music theory" which makes him uncomfortable and making him decide to give up.
He didn't used his guitar until 2013 when he decided to take some private guitar lessons with his guitar teacher at the time, which were more about an "modern" way of learning guitar and music. By doing theses lessons, Robin made peace with the instrument and founded the motivation and confidence to continue to play.
In 2017, Robin decided to create his own music and started making music projects and songs on his computer, but during the process, some songs were either lost or unfinished.
In 2020, he started creating songs again in a way to find his own sound.
From 2021 to 2023, Robin released a trilogy EP called “TAPES”, with Vol 1 (2021), Vol.2 (2022) and Vol.3 (2023).
Robin collaborated with many artists such as Lucas Valencia, Noa Equinet, Louis Tripenne & GARANCE
Recently he dropped his new single “Way Out” featuring singer/songwriter “GARANCE”, this song was submitted to be featured in the official soundtrack of the new “Cyberpunk 2077” DLC ! Even if the song was not taken on, he decided to released it because of the potential that the song has and of the music style that he doesn’t usually compose.
