Adnan Jakubovic is a Bosnian-born DJ, music producer, and the visionary founder of Big Bells Records, now residing in Stuttgart, Germany. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Adnan has established himself as a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, specializing in Progressive & Melodic House, Organic House, and Melodic Techno.
Active as a DJ since 2006 and a producer since 2010, Adnan has built an impressive catalog of over 100 releases on renowned labels worldwide, including Bonzai Progressive, Soundteller Records, Balkan Connection, DAR Digital, Mystique Music, Big Bells Records, and many others. His productions are celebrated for their unique blend of energy, emotion, and genre-defying creativity, incorporating elements of techno, house, and melodic depth.
In 2013 Adnan started his music podcast series Big Bells Podcast on Tenzi.FM Radio from India and later on Frisky Radio from New York and now since 2020 active on Proton Radio from San Francisco. His podcast series has garnered a global following, further cementing his reputation as a tastemaker in the underground electronic music community. His music has earned critical acclaim, with tracks like “The Lizard King” and remixes such as Chris Sterio & Alex Y’s “Different Direction” making top charts in mighty Mixmag Adria magazine. Notably, his track "Afraid of Happiness" was featured as the official soundtrack for the 2017 film Electric Heart made in Los Angeles.
Adnan’s performances have graced stages at festivals and clubs across Europe, including the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2017. He also played in cities such are Berlin, Amsterdam, Sarajevo, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Luxembourg, Novi Sad, Velenje, Alanya, and others.
