Mister Poison, a seasoned DJ and electronic music producer, began his musical journey in 1987 on the Spanish East Coast. Initially captivated by the art of mixing, he quickly immersed himself in the local electronic music scene.
By 1991, Mister Poison expanded his musical activities, organizing and DJing at various mainstream parties. His career took a significant turn in high school when he discovered Hardcore mixtapes, leading him to focus on mixing techno and Hardcore Gabber. This distinctive sound earned him a residency at the renowned Gibus Club in Paris, where he played at the Thursday Absolut Hardcore Party alongside both international and French hardcore artists. The Gibus Club was a pivotal spot in the Parisian underground techno scene during the late 1990s.
Mister Poison co-created his first release, “In the Troop,” under the name Nevrotik Dump. This track appeared on the compilation DOME 001 - Rendez-Vous Porte De Montreuil, produced in collaboration with the S’Kape organization and Universal Records. In 2000, he contributed to the first Tekno Ballet, presented at the Monaco Dance Forum. At that time, showcasing the dance and music of rave parties was groundbreaking, attracting the international contemporary dance community and members of Monaco’s princely family, including Prince Albert.
Over the years, Mister Poison’s work has been recognized by esteemed labels such as Bonzai Records. He was featured on the Bonzai Urban Retrospective compilation for the label’s 10th anniversary and more recently on Bigroom Records. Known for his dynamic blend of house and progressive music, his productions are marked by a sharp sense of efficiency.
As a skilled bassist, Mister Poison channels his stage energy into his music production. Through his own label, Finally Nude Records, he has reissued his first three albums and his entire discography since 2000. Currently, he is in the process of producing his fourth album. Mister Poison continues to innovate and push the boundaries of electronic music, drawing from his extensive experience and diverse influences.
